Sundays @ Northern Hills Fellowship
Sunday Services

The Sunday Service begins at 10:45am and is typically over by noon. Dress is casual. Childcare is provided in our nursery by a paid caregiver. Hearing aids are available for those in need of listening devices.

We welcome visiting ministers or other guest speaker(s) to lead our services. Most Sunday services include readings, a sermon, hymns, a story for our children, an offering, and the sharing of personal joys and sorrows by members of the congregation.

Adult Forum

The Adult Forum is a discussion group for just adults which offers participants an opportunity to talk about current events and issues.

It meets every Sunday from September through May at 9:30am in the Quimby Room at the Fellowship. Average attendance ranges between 10 and 15 and all adults are welcome to attend.

Coffee & Fellowship

Immediately following each service, everyone is invited to stay and enjoy a time of fellowship and refreshments in the Quimby Room.

Visitors are especially encouraged to enjoy a cup of coffee and member- provided snacks. This is a great opportunity to meet members of the congregation, discuss the sermon, or get to know a little more about Northern Hills Fellowship.

Unitarian Universalist
Children’s Religious Education Classes

On most Sundays, our children participate in the first part of the Worship Service and are offered a children’s story from the minister or other speaker.

They then go to religious education classes. Classes generally run from 11:00 to noon. The Religious Education (RE) classes are age and developmental specific. They collectively provide comprehensive curricula (from pre- school through high school).

Our teachers are mostly parents of students in the RE Program, but NHF has been fortunate to have several professional teachers and other members of the congregation who routinely teach in and enrich the RE program.

Parents are always encouraged to participate as a teacher, teacher's helper, provider of snacks, chauffeur (for field trips), and for other special activities, or to just sit in on a class.
