
Membership
The
Membership Committees are responsible for nurturing and supporting current,
new, and prospective members of the Fellowship.
Caring Committee
This committee's goal is to nurture and support the members of the Fellowship
in times of need by sending cards and flowers; organizing volunteers from
the congregation to provide meals, child care, transportation, etc. when
members of the church are in need of this assistance; and share information
within the church family about the needs of members.
Hospitality Committee
This committee provides amenities that encourage enjoyable social interaction
at annual church events and special events as requested by the board.
They organize volunteers to provide food, set up, and clean up for these
church events.
Membership Committee
This committee works to assimilate new members and friends into the congregation
and make them feel welcome. Their responsibilities include greeting visitors
on Sunday, arranging Get Acquainted Luncheons, New Member Recognition,
managing the Membership Book, assisting with the UU Orientation Series,
and helping prospective members get information. They meet once per month.
