NHF Silent Auction & Refreshments
Followed by Oral Auction
Saturday, April 21, 2012 — 6:30 PM
What is it? Items and services of value are solicited from members, friends, and local businesses. On April 21, these donations are auctioned to the highest bidders. All proceeds go to the Fellowship. You take home your purchases and a warm feeling of having made a substantial contribution to Northern Hills Fellowship. Donors get a nice tax deduction!
Our goal: This year we need to raise $9,000 to use for general support of our programs. We’ll have door prizes and the usual spectacular selection of auction items, and we’ll provide everyone - kids included - with a wonderful evening of fun.
To make our auction a success, here is what we need YOU to do:
Decide on the contributions you will make to the auction, and solicit donations of items or services from businesses you patronize. Pick up a donation contract and copies of our business solicitation letter in the Quimby Room beginning February 5. Drop off the letters at your favorite businesses and ask if they will consider making a donation. Decide what you will donate, fill out the contract, and return it to the auction box in the Quimby Room (or to one of the people listed below) as soon as possible.
Plan to attend the auction and bring your friends. Make generous bids on items that interest you or that will make good gifts for friends and family.
